Paint your Pet Paint Nights!
We will be hosting Paint your Pet Paint Nights at the studio with our first event happening March 23rd. Tickets are on sale and it is going to sell fast! Come join the FUN!
Events are happening
The cost is $50 (unless otherwise indicated ie wine nights! ) and includes up to 3 hours of individual art instruction. All art supplies are provided. Please send us a photo of your pet (to reach us at least one week before the event) We will draw your pet out on the canvas for you! This is not a traditional paint night or paint a long where an artist leads in front. Each painting is unique and for that reason we will have artists walking around giving individual guidance.
We look forward to having you at our studio!
A few weeks ago I was fortunate enough to host a pArty for the lovely ladies from Shape Your World Society: Total Makeover Challenge.
To give you a bit of an idea of what and who they are: “Shape Your World Society was founded January 17, 2011. It is a Non-Profit Organization whose mission is to help women and their families. Shape Your World Society offers a variety of workshops and seminars, and they also manage the Total Makeover Challenge in Abbotsford and Langley.”
“The purposes of Shape Your World Society: – To educate and support the emotional, physical and financial well-being of women and their families through workshops, seminars, and programs which shall include: (a) A 20 week makeover program that includes nutritional information education, fitness education, financial literacy and personal growth opportunities. (b) Weekend seminars for overall well-being (c) Weekend seminars for personal / career goals (d) Health & nutrition workshops (e) Family safety programs (f) Personal growth seminars.”
I was a great honour to sponsor this event! They all arrived promptly at 6 pm – began to each weigh in, measure and talked about the tough week they all had over Easter long weekend.
Finally at 7 pm the magic started happening. All the ladies put their serious and funny painting faces on, shared in their triumphs and pitfalls of their challenge, all the while creating beautiful pieces of art. I was honored to host such a wonderful group of ladies in the Fraser Valley community.
Congrats ladies for all your hard work!
One of my first creations sometime in 2010, I found these boards at a thrift store I love to recycle!
These photos speaks for itself…
